Checking for spark

Checking for spark is a very good idea if your atv is not starting. We need 3 things in an internal combustion engine to make it run. Gas, spark, and air. Something has to ignite the fuel/air mixture. If its not sparking, its not running!

When checking for spark in the method I am showing, be careful not to touch the plug while you are touching the starter button. I will shock you! The plug must be placed against the frame or engine block so that it is grounded.
